Due to the increasing shift to electrification, many firms are addressing the e-mobility sector with different solutions. More precisely, the industry of charging stations is not mature yet as currently there are not many players, but the industry is forecast to grow in the next years with the increasing implementation of EVs.
The main players in e-mobility charging sector are not focusing on just producing the physical EVs chargers but they usually buy or lease of the land up to 25 years covering all CapEx and OpEx for construction, grid connection and EVs charging service. The state-of-the-art EVs charging stations connected to the national electric grid are not solving the main problem related to the lack of charging infrastructure.
The charging infrastructure is the major limitation to e-mobility as the national electric grid is unavailable and unreliable in some areas and costly to strengthen. Of course, this opens up very promising opportunities for emerging players and newcomer.
